Dry Eye and Bleopharitis
TempSure eyeEnvi can be used as an adjuvant to the treatment of ocular surface disease. The radiofrequency employs thermal energy to soften the oil in the meibomian glands, unblocking the glands and helping to restore the lipid (oily) layer of the tear film.
How this helps dry eye:
The heat from the radiofrequency treatment unblocks glands, allowing oil to return to tears, which helps keep them from evaporating. When tears remain on the ocular surface for longer, symptoms of dry eye improve.
